Summer Garden Party 2024: A Heartfelt Thank You

The warmth and generosity of our community were on full display at our recent Summer Garden Party, graciously hosted by Bruce and Susan Heim. We sincerely thank everyone who attended and contributed to this special event. Your presence and support made this event a resounding success, raising over $145,000 – our best result since the start of the Summer Garden Party! 

The Garden Party is not only a delightful celebration but also a critical fundraiser for Strawberry Fields. Undesignated funds are essential for our ability to adapt and respond effectively to the evolving needs of our community and the flexibility to direct resources where they are most needed, ensuring the continued success of our programs and initiatives. 

Over the years, funds raised from this event have allowed us to: 

• Sustain Good Day Café through its first and most challenging year as a new business in the area. This August, Good Day Café will celebrate its 6th anniversary. 

• Enhance safety measures and make technology investments during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

• Establish our innovative Mental Health Nurse Navigator position. The nurse navigator bridges gaps between mental health services, primary care, and social support, ensuring cohesive and continuous care for our consumers.
