When Strawberry Fields opened Scraps & Skeins in 2014, we dreamed of creating something extraordinary—a place where creativity and purpose would intertwine. Today, as we mark our 10th anniversary, that dream has flourished into a vibrant community hub where crafters find inspiration, donated materials find new life, and individuals facing mental health challenges find meaningful employment.
This May, we invite you to be part of our story at our 10th Anniversary Fiber Arts Showcase. This milestone celebration will feature the incredible creations that have emerged from our shop over the past decade. Whether you've crafted a cozy scarf from our yarn, sewn a quilt from our fabrics, or created needlework with our supplies, we want to showcase your artistry.

"Scraps & Skeins began as a dream to create meaningful opportunities through creative reuse," reflects Ellen Campbell, one of the original founding mothers and Strawberry Fields board member. "Ten years later, that dream has blossomed into a vibrant store that transforms lives while giving new purpose to donated materials. Help us inspire the next decade of creativity and compassion."
Registration fees support Scraps & Skeins' mission of providing employment opportunities for adults in recovery from mental illness while promoting sustainability through creative reuse. This event is made possible in part through a grant from Happy Valley Adventure Bureau.
