HR Specialist

About the job: Administer comprehensive employee benefits and retirement programs including group health, dental, vision, life insurance, health savings, flexible spending accounts, COBRA administration, plus Vacation, Sick, and Holiday time. Process all FMLA requests and accurately documenting employee FMLA hours used.
Job duties include: Perform benefits administration in determining eligibility, handling monthly reporting and processing, updating benefits elections and changes on behalf of employees. Facilitate annual open enrollment processes. Serve as a benefits expert to answer questions of employees timely and accurately. Manage various reports for compliance, claims, billing, and mailing requirements. Generate reports to identify outstanding enrollment elections and/or errors and address any issues identified. Provide Employment Verifications, and Other Human Resources or administrative duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will be customer-service oriented and ensure quick, equitable, and courteous resolution to both internal staff and external clients. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, multi-tasking ability, attention to detail to ensure accuracy of information managed. Must have exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor and Industrial Relations, or related field and 2-years of experience in the H.R. field required; ADP/MITC experience a plus. Staff Accountant

Job duties include: Prepare general ledger entries by maintaining records and files plus reconcile accounts, Prepare consolidated internal and external financial statements in accordance with GAAP, Sales Tax Reporting, Complete bank reconciliations monthly, Analyze information and options by developing Excel spreadsheet reports, Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data, Review and assist in budget preparation and implementation, Create, track, process and reconcile all invoices to clients and maintain proper A/P and A/R logs, Perform monthly close, to include allocations and revenue recognition, Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures, Perform administrative duties including copying, filing, emailing, organizing, and other activities for Accounting and Finance, and Assist in rollout of new procedures and systems as assigned by the CFO.

The ideal candidate will by highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data, Excel spreadsheets, and MS Office. Ability to work with minimal guidance, prioritize and multitask, and complete multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and ensure accuracy in preparing invoices and cost distribution.
Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; minimum of 3-5 years of experience in general accounting environment; knowledge of and experience with GAAP and nonprofit accounting; demonstrated proficiency with QuickBooks; ADP/MITC experience a plus. Psychiatric Direct Support Specialist

Assisting adults who have a primary mental health diagnosis in a residential setting. Responsibilities include providing emotional support, assisting with daily living skills, money management, household management, and social skills. Bachelor’s degree in a human service related field for Full-time preferred. Major coursework in a human service related field for Part -time preferred. Now hiring for awake overnights at our Bellefonte location. PA State Criminal History Check required.

Direct Support Professional

Part-time and Full-time opportunities working hands-on in a residential setting with adults living with intellectual disabilities and/or mental health issues. Responsibilities include helping individuals with daily living skills, personal care, community integration, emotional support, and anger management. Must be 18 years or older. Valid driver’s license preferred. PA State Criminal History Check required.

Physical Therapist

Registered Physical Therapist with pediatric experience. Current Commonwealth of Pennsylvania licensure. Valid PA Driver’s License. Child Abuse and Criminal History Clearances.

Certified Peer Specialist

A (CPS) contributes in a peer support capacity to facilitate recovery and enhance wellness. A CPS serves as a role model for recovery and helps consumers to develop self-help skills and build support networks through Individual Recovery Plans. A CPS helps consumers complete the Learning Collaborative modules and Advanced Directives in individual and/or group settings.

Transition Coach-LifeLink Apartment Program

Providing assistance and guidance to persons living in the transition apartment. Assistance will generally be needed in such areas as money management, shopping, cooking, social skills, community access, and other transition skills. The Transition Coach must demonstrate initiative, reliability, and sensitivity when working with persons with a disability. The overall goal of the Transition Coach is to maximize independence and enhance the student’s ability to live in independent or semi-independent living situations.

Blended Case Management – Adult

An adult (BCM) role is to work with consumers who have serious and persistent mental illness. The BCM is responsible for assessing needs, linking to resources to fill those needs, and monitoring the use of resources to assess if the resources are beneficial in meeting the consumers’ needs. The Blended Case Manager is also responsible for periodic on-call shifts. Bachelor’s Degree in a human service related field and experience preferred. Valid driver’s license, FBI and Criminal History Clearance.

Developmental Teacher

Bachelor’s Degree in early intervention, special education, early childhood education. One year’s experience working with children. Valid PA Driver’s License. Child Abuse, FBI and Criminal History Clearances are required.

Occupational Therapist

Registered Occupational Therapist with pediatric experience. Current Commonwealth of Pennsylvania licensure. Valid PA Driver’s License. Child Abuse and Criminal History Clearances.

Speech Therapist

M.A. or M.S. degree in Speech/Language Pathology or Communication Disorders with pediatric experience and Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC). Current Commonwealth of Pennsylvania licensure. Valid PA Driver’s License. Child Abuse and Criminal History Clearances.
