- Established in 1972 as a 501©3 private non-profit, governed by a 14 member volunteer Board of Directors.
- Serves over 250 people a year and employs 140 full and part time staff.
- Provides 24 hour residential services to 25 individuals with mental retardation, in nine homes.
- Assists 22 adults with mental retardation who live independently, through a program called Supported Living.
- Supports 7 adults with mental retardation and mental health issues in the Adult Development Program (ADP), in their own apartments.
- Teaches weekly classes to 10 adults with mental retardation who live with their own families, in a program called Independent Living.
- Supports 64 adults with chronic mental health issues who live independently, through Intensive Case Management (ICM).
- Provides 24-hour residential services to 11 adults with chronic mental illness with the Community Residential Rehabilitation Program (CRR).
- Supports 48 children and young people, ages 5 to 21, with Intensive Case Management (ICM).
- Provides Early Intervention services to 75 families with children from birth through age three, who are experiencing delays in their development.
- Receives over 90% of revenue from government sources.
- Licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, Department of Health and Department of Labor and Industry.
- Affiliated with the Centre County United Way, the Pennsylvania Association of Rehabilitation Facilities and the Pennsylvania Association of Non-profit Organizations.
